Experienced guard Joe Ragland joins Hapoel Holon

Hapoel Holon has signed Joe Ragland for the next season, the team announced Wednesday.
Ragland, 31, is coming off a strong season helping Hapoel Eilat make it to the semifinals of the Winner League playoffs.
The American-Liberian guard averaged 14.7 points, 7.5 assists, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per match in the Regular Season. He also logged 15.5 points per playoffs contest.
He will stay in Israel but adding the Basketball Champions League to the list of competitions.
Ragland introduced himself to the BCL during his 2016-17 campaign with Avellino. His career also includes several stints in both the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 7DAYS EuroCup.
The former Wichita State standout has joined AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milano and Crvena Zvezda mts through his lengthy tenure in Europe. He has also played for Cantu, Lokomotiv Kuban, Pinar Karsiyaka, and UCAM Murcia.
As for Holon, the team is heading to Group G action in the Champions League. Happy Casa Brindisi, Darussafaka Tekfen, and one more team surviving the qualifiers line up as opponents.
